Overview
AG-HyperSorter Hyperspectral Sorter main components include uniform light source, spectral camera, electronically controlled moving platform (or conveyor belt), computer and control software and so on. It works by placing the sample on an electronically controlled moving platform (or conveyor belt) to be illuminated by a light source, and the reflected light of the sample is captured by a spectral camera through a lens, obtaining a one-dimensional image as well as spectral information.
Advantage
As the electronically controlled moving platform (or conveyor belt) drives the sample running continuously, thus it acquires continuous one-dimensional images as well as real-time spectral information. All the data are recorded by the computer software, and finally generates a three-dimensional data cube containing image information and spectral information. By analyzing the data, internal and external information such as moisture, sugar and acidity of fruits and vegetables, as well as information required for grading and sorting of other types of items can be acquired, and to develop the subsequent control so as to realize fully automated sorting of the items.
